Landform and Infrastructure | Krucker Bates | Summer 2022 | Part 1
Sustainable settlements in the Munich fringe.
On the north slope of Weihenstephan Hill at TUM and HSWT, sheep transform the soil to reduce erosion and improve fertility. Students research projects on biodiversity and architecture are in desperate need of expansion.
We propose a network of dry stone walls from lokal quarries that stop erosion by catching the soil after heavy rainfall, thus creating platforms over time that host further student research projects.
